My passion for sports and fitness has led me down the path to realizing my Olympic dreams. I'm here today as a member of the USA Bobsled team and an Olympic hopeful as a result of my athletic drive and strong work ethic. During high school, football was a big part of my life as an athlete and quickly became a strong motivation to train harder and harder each day. When I was about 14 years old I began training at a local training facility called Northstar Sports. It was at Northstar that my foundation as an athlete began to form. After high school I played football for only one short season in college before attending a bobsled combine in Lake Placid, NY. It was an overwhelming experience that I am glad I got to take part in. Shortly after attending the combine I decided to leave Springfield College and pursue an extremely challenging goal of going to the Olympics. Hard work and dedication has gotten me to where I am today and I hope that it will continue to help me reach my goals. I am currently enrolled in the online exercise science program at California University of Pennsylvania. Over the past couple of seasons I have been fortunate to travel to some amazing places and meet some great people. Last year I was able to train at the fastest and most dangerous track in the world in Whistler, British Columbia. This past November I was able to stay in Park City, Utah for almost 2 months training and learning the bobsled track there. Once the competition comes to a close, I spend the remainder of the year working and training in Lake Placid, NY. I spend the majority of my time training and preparing for the upcoming season. In my downtime I enjoy listening to music, fishing, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.
